Washington State Coach Mike Leach Goes Off On His Team And Says Utah Is Not That Good

After losing his sixth consecutive Pac-12 game, seemingly on course for a winless league season in his first year as head coach, Washington State’s Mike Leach has apparently had enough. He went off on his Cougars after their 49-6 loss at Utah questioning his team’s effort calling them at one point “cowardice”. On one hand he said Utah was good but then said they are “not that good” while his team wasn’t that bad.

Meanwhile reports say star wide receiver Marquese Wilson was suspended for a violation of team rules with some sources indicating he quit the team altogether. Apparently Wilson walked out of practice Sunday. Looks like Leach’s ship is continuing to sink in his first season.
