After the crazy finish (or should we say three finishes) that saw Utah beat BYU Saturday night 24-21 a Ute fan taunted Cougars head coach Bronco Mendenhall. The fan dressed in goofy suspenders obviously said something that ticked off the coach who took a couple steps toward him. The fan quickly retreated while police stepped in front of Mendenhall. Obviously this is just another example of a fana taking things too seriously. It’s just a football game and it’s ridiculous he can’t show at least respect for the coach of the opposing team. Again it’s just a small percentage of fans that act this way but unfortunately it reflects poorly on all.
