Deron Williams Signs His Brooklyn Nets Contract Via An iPad

by NBA

Deron Williams officially signed his new five-year $98 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets in Las Vegas via an iPad. He tweeted the picture above. I guess you have to love modern technology. Curious on how Utah Jazz fans feel considering if he wasn’t traded he could have been signing the new deal with your team. But after running off Jerry Sloan combined with his pouting and fear he wouldn’t have resigned anyway to go along with the many assets the Jazz got in the trade I’m guessing you don’t care. But then again Williams is a superstar and one of the best point guards in the NBA and the Jazz lack both. In the end I think it’s clear Williams would have left the Jazz so it was best the team got assets in return. It’s just too bad for the Jazz because to win titles you need superstars.
