The tweet I sent above pretty much sums it up. Russell Westbrook had one of the best NBA Finals performances you’ll ever see. But in the end he made one of the worst plays that cost Oklahoma City a chance to beat the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Down 3-1 the Thunder are done. You could make the argument that without Westbrook’s performance OKC wouldn’t even be in the position to win that game. True, but you can say that in most games. The reality is you can’t have brain cramps in crucial moments and expect to win titles.
