Delonte West Gives Gordon Hayward A Wet Willy

Just when you think you’ve seen it all in sports the Dallas Mavericks Delonte West gives Gordon Hayward of the Utah Jazz a wet willy. Well I’m not sure it was completely wet but West did stick his finger into Hayward’s ear with enough force that pushed his head over. The three officials somehow missed it but then after reviewing the play issued West a technical but didn’t throw him out. Just a flat out strange and punk move.

As for the game, after leading throughout the night the Jazz did everything possible to blow it by missing several free throws in clutch situations in regulation and in the three overtimes. It pretty much summed up their season as nothing seems to come easy for this team. Different players stepped up at various times led by Al Jefferson’s 28 points and 26 rebounds. Have to give credit to a Dallas squad that was coming off an overtime loss Sunday to the Lakers. Now you have to wonder if the Jazz have enough in the tank and whether this squad that showed heart will show up Wednesday night at Portland or the one that lost the other night to New Orleans.
